Admission to Std VIII are purely on merit. Admission forms can be obtained from the School office in the last week of March. An entrance test is held every year in the month of April.
We follow the curriculum of Karnataka State Board. (SSLC). We offer three languages Sanskrit, English & Kannada or English, Kannada & Hindi as First, Second and third languages respectively.
Value Education
Value education is given as much importance as the other subjects. Joyful Living, a series of books written by A.C educational research team are prescribed with an attempt to improve the quality of life of each child. These books take into consideration the basic values of all religions.
Counseling
We have a provision for student counseling. A well qualified counselor deals with the psychological problems of adolescents. Life skills classes are conducted on a regular basis.
School Cabinet
Our school cabinet comprises a team of capable students of Std X chosen by the headmistress and the teachers. The cabinet consists of the School Pupil Leader, Assistant School Pupil Leader, the four-squad leaders - Sathya, Shanthi, Prema and Seva, leaders for sports, discipline and cultural activities. Investiture ceremony is held in the month of June where the cabinet members are sworn in. The cabinet is responsible for the maintenance of discipline and for organizing cultural programmes and competitions.
Academic Record
Our school has a record of securing 100% pass results every year in the SSLC board examination. Some of our students have secured ranks at the state level. We have been securing excellent results with nearly 95% first classes, including 40% distinctions.
